Gondola ride on the Grand Canal in Venice

Gondolas and Venice, they go hand in hand. One of the activities we had during the Venice Carnival Photo Tour, was a two hour gondola ride, through the canals in Venice.The group split into two, with half the group on the gondola you see in front, and the second in the gondola I was in. It's a very different perspective to experience Venice in this way.  We found ourselves out of the typical routes, and into smaller and quieter canals which I don't believe are normally seen. In this photo, we had just emerged from a quite little canal into the Grand Canal heading towards the Rialto Bridge from the north side.I didn't do a whole lot to this photo, aside from making it straight :) I was in a bit of an angle while shooting this. I think the biggest overall change was setting the white balance to Shade in Lightroom before editing in Photoshop. The original white balance was too blue for my taste, and this better reflects in my opinion the later afternoon light and mood of that time of the day.More to come, and let me know what you think.
