A Cinematic Journey through Morocco: Sunrise at the edge of the Sahara I

The very first rays of the morning sun hit the far mountain range. We were standing with our backs to this in the direction of the rising sun, when I turned around and wondered when this far mountain range would get some light on it. Eventually it did, which is when I made this photo. The sunlight then moved slowly across the plain and soon enough everything was awash in glorious golden light. If you look closely, you can see one or two minarets of near by villages.
