Taken last night from a speed boat! Coming back from a deserted Toronto Island trip on a water taxi. Lots of noise, lots of blur. I must have taken 20 or more shots and this is one of 2 that came out somewhat sharp. Processing wise, in Lightroom some minor adjustments and crop. In photoshop a Hue adjustment to add more red, then noise removal, to which there was quite a lot from the high ISO. This was a fun trip. Because the city is on strike, there is virtually no one in the islands. Kinda spooky, but also quite beautiful.

You managed quite well in this photo. I cannot be easy at that slow shutter! ;) moodaholic @ 2009-07-11 09:22:52
Thanks! It took quite a few shots, leaning on the boat, and luck to get it :) john cavacas @ 2009-07-11 14:38:08
You've done brilliantly here considering what you were up against. The movement in the water is fantastic compared to the stillness of the city, and I love the red and green reflection on the right of the shot. The tower at the centre is beautifully placed too. JamesD @ 2009-07-30 09:30:02
Thank you James, great work on your blog. I'll be sure to subscribe. John Cavacas @ 2009-07-30 11:05:47
